Digital Designs had the opportunity to work with the top sign company in Michigan SIGN IMAGE. So it was quite a match when the best web design and sign company get to work together.
SIGN IMAGE existing website was built on an aged framework of HTML and Flash Animation. Though the website was still functional the flash animation header of the website would not load on mobile devices and the majority of new browsers.
So it was our task to take the existing information on the website and create an engaging way to focus on their key services and really make the website stand out and give the visual POP that SIGN IMAGE is known for with their signs and vehicle wraps.
The Result!
New Framework: We built the new website off a new framework we have been perfecting for around 6 months, that gives them control of their website in a very user friendly manner. Allowing them to change text, images, and update their gallery.
Design: To say the new website is an improvement is an understatement. We created a unique 3D parralax header that gives a dimensional look instead of flat and boring. Their signs get attention while people are driving down the road so the idea behind the header was to show a fast pace city background image with their signs being displayed giving a dimensional look that is very impactful. We also utilized a full screen menu system with CSS transition effects to give an immersive experience and no distractions when trying to navigate through their website. The homepage is the key area for a viewer of your website so we took an approach of making large full screen call to action sections that focus on each of their 3 main services. Throughout the entire website we utilized animation of the design elements that are dependent on the users position on the page. This makes for the ultimate in content engagement. We also utilized call to action popup quote when the user gets to a certain area of the website we feel will get the best conversion rate.
Conclusion: In the first week of this website being online, we have seen a 35% reduction on bounce rate and 2 minute page retention time. These are huge numbers and result in higher conversions and better ranking in Google. SIGN IMAGE competition just got dealt a painful blown that they will feel for quite some time. Another satisfied customer and it was a pleasure working with such a great company.
